Terms and Conditions
The Airtime Cash back Reward Program ("the Program") is a promotional offer provided by Consolidated Bank Ghana Ltd (“CBG”) to eligible individual customers. The Program offers a cash back reward of 4% on airtime purchases made by customers. The cash back reward will be paid into the accounts of the customers.
1.1 Only airtime purchases for all networks, including MTN, Vodafone, and AirtelTigo,(rebranded as at) are eligible for the Airtime Cash back Reward Program.
2.1. The Airtime Cash back Reward Program is open to individuals/retail consumer banking customers of CBG.
2.2. Customers must have an active account and be signed onto the CBG’s Internet Banking, Mobile App or USSD (*924#) to be eligible for the Cashback Reward Program.
2.3. Business-related accounts are exempted and not eligible to participate in the program.
2.4. Foreign-denominated accounts, such as USD, British Pound, etc., are not eligible for the program.
2.5. Employees of the CBG are not eligible to participate in the Airtime Cash back Reward Program.
3.1. The Airtime Cash back Reward Program will be effective from the 1st July 2023 to 31st December 2023. CBG reserves the right to modify or terminate the Airtime Cash back Reward Program at any time, with or without prior notice.
4.1. Customers will receive a 4% cashback on all successful airtime purchases made in a calendar month.
Crediting of Cash back Reward:
5.1. Cash back earned by customers who participate in the program will be credited to their accounts within ten (10) working days of the ensuing month.
5.2. The cash back reward is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for any other form apart from cash credited into the customer’s account.
Monthly Airtime Purchase Limit:
6.1. There is no limit to the amount of airtime customers can purchase in a month.
Redemption and Usage:
7.1. The cash back reward cannot be applied on any other products or services offered by the mobile service provider or the Company.
8.1. The cash back reward is applicable only to airtime purchases and does not include any other fees, charges, or taxes associated with the mobile service.
8.2. The cash back reward cannot be combined with any other discounts, promotions, or offers unless explicitly stated by CBG.
9.1. CBG will not be liable for any loss, damages, or expenses incurred by the customer as a result of participating in the Program or redeeming the cashback reward.
9.2. CBG does not guarantee the availability or quality of airtime or services provided by the mobile service providers.
9.3. The customer agrees to release and hold CBG harmless from any claims, demands, or actions arising out of or related to the Program.
10.1. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the customer and CBG regarding the Program and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
10.2. CBG reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, and any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on CBG’s website or other communication channels.
10.3. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10.4 These terms and conditions shall be governed by the Laws of Ghana.
