Nana Abra- Appiah

CHAIRMAN

Welbeck is an executive with 45 years of high level operating experience gained across diverse industries and businesses.  He previously worked with Ghana Commercial Bank now (GCB Bank) and the then Bank for Housing and Construction, rising through the ranks to MD of Amalgamated Bank (now BOA) where he led as an innovative strategist.

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and Ghana Association of Bankers and was Chairman of the Premier league board, a position he held for over a decade. He was a consultant for the World Bank on SME Projects and is currently an entrepreneur into manufacturing.

Welbeck is Harvard Business School (USA) educated and a product of the University of Ghana, with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Sociology, and Political science.

Welbeck has vast leadership, organizational development, banking and finance experiences.
