Hon. Dr. Bright Bakye Yelviel Baligi

DIRECTOR

Hon. Dr. Bright Bakye Yelviel Baligi is an environmental economist and sustainability/conservationist.

He currently serves as the Member of Parliament for the Lambussie Constituency of the Upper West Region.

Hon. Dr. Baligi holds a Doctorate in Project Management from Wayne Park University, Missouri; after bagging two (2) master's degrees in Economic Policy Management and Development Management from the University of Ghana, Legon, and GIMPA respectively. He holds a first-class honours degree in Renewable Natural Resources Management from the University for Development Studies, Nyankpala.

He has served on the Foreign Affairs and Constitutional, Legal, and Parliamentary Affairs Committes of Parliament. He is currently a member of the Education, House and Governance Assurance Committees of Parliament.

He worked as a lecturer at the University of Development Studies before becoming an MP. He has also worked with several reputable institutions as a consultant.
