Holding an MPhil and an Executive MBA in Marketing from the University of Ghana, along with a BA Honors in Sociology with Economics, his academic foundation has been pivotal in his career development.

Edward's professional journey is marked by significant roles at British American Tobacco Ghana Ltd, where he ascended from Regional Sales Manager to Head of Trade Marketing & Distribution, showcasing his ability to develop and implement effective trade marketing and distribution strategies that align with corporate objectives and market demands. His expertise was further demonstrated in his roles as National Sales Manager and Distribution & Logistics Manager, where he developed a professional team and executed plans ensuring the uninterrupted supply of brands throughout the country.

In 2003, Edward ventured into entrepreneurship as the Executive Director and Shareholder of Targetlink Limited and the Managing Consultant and Shareholder of Cypher Consult Ltd. His tenure in these positions underscores his adeptness in business management and consulting, with notable projects such as the critical review of Ghacem's distribution system and the restructuring of Ghacem's marketing organization to maintain market leadership amidst intense competition.

Edward's commitment to excellence is further reflected in his role as a Non-Executive Director at GCB Bank Limited from December 2018 to September 2021, where he contributed to the bank's strategic direction without being involved in the day-to-day management.
