Consolidated Bank Ghana LTD opens Navrongo Branch

Consolidated Bank Ghana LTD. (CBG), in the quest to make significant strides towards extending its reach and providing accessible banking services to Ghanaians, has officially opened the Navrongo branch in the Upper East Region of Ghana.

The expansion of CBG’s branch network across the nation reflects the Bank’s commitment to financial inclusion and its vision to make banking services easily accessible to all Ghanaians.

With the opening of the Navrongo branch, CBG aims to bolster economic growth, facilitate convenient banking, and empower individuals and businesses in Navrongo and its surrounding communities.

The Managing Director of CBG, Mr. Daniel Wilson Addo, expressed his enthusiasm about the branch opening, emphasizing, that CBG was established with three main objectives “One is to provide differentiated banking experience to our customers, the other is to continue to stand with our customers, the third is to thrive to be at the forefront of innovation in banking.”

He added that the Management and staff at CBG are passionate and dedicated to delivering a unique banking experience to customers in the communities served and assured all present that services at the Navrongo branch would be even better.

He was particularly excited about the SME and agricultural sectors expressing gladness at the closeness of the Bank to a lot of these businesses.

Mr. Thairu Ndungu, Deputy Managing Director of Operations, mentioned that CBG is not just opening new branches but reaching customers through the use of technology highlighting the Bank’s offerings for training to small businesses to enable them expand their reach and take advantage of the African free trade area.

The Navro-Pio, Pe Denis Aneakwoa Balinia Adda Asagpaare II, the Paramount Chief of the Navrongo traditional area advised officials of the Bank to reach out to residents, especially market women, so they can do business with the Bank. He further appealed to the Management of the Bank to consider engaging indigenes if there were employment opportunities.

Dignitaries present at the event include the MCE for Kassena-Nankana, Hon. Joseph Adongo, Director of Retail and Business Banking, Mr. Emmanuel Nikoi; General Manager of Distribution, Governance and Branch Experience, Mr. Edward Antwi and other management members of the Bank.
