CBG Collaborates with DBG to Train SMEs

Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) has collaborated with the Development Bank Ghana (DBG) to train and certify Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) internationally, under the Financial Empowerment Program organized at the CBG SME Centre, Kokomlemle. The training qualifies participants for access to funding while also being hosted on a marketplace offering access the Singapore and the Asian Market at large.

Customers in the Small and Medium Enterprise space were educated on the operations of Development Bank of Ghana, and how it is partnering with participating financial institutions like CBG to help the Small and Medium Enterprise.

The focus of the strategic partnership between CBG and DBG is to serve our customers while ensuring maximized benefits are derived from DBG especially making available long-term competitively priced loans to critical industry sectors.

In line with CBGs mandate to be at the forefront of SME financing, we deem it key to have a partnership with DBG, the new development finance institution (wholesale Bank), set up to help propel growth in the SME sector.

We therefore brought our cherished customers together to engage DBG on the SME financing empowerment program and how to have access to it through CBG.
